Can you deliver the bikes to our hotel or to the airport?

Yes, we can deliver and collect the bikes directly at your hotel or accommodation, or we can meet you at the airport.

What accessories are included in the tours?

The accessories included in the tour are: helmet, phone holder (for self-guided tours), and lock.

What is included with the bike rental?

Included are a high-quality lock (Kryptonite or Abus), a repair kit, and a pump.

What is the traffic like on Sicilian roads? Are there bike paths?

This is often the first question when thinking about a bike tour in Sicily. No, there aren’t many dedicated bike paths. However, outside of urban areas, Sicily is sparsely populated and has an extensive network of secondary roads with very little traffic. Our itineraries are designed to take advantage of these quiet roads.

What is the best time of year to visit Sicily for cycling?

The best seasons for a cycling tour are spring and autumn, when the temperatures are mild.
During the summer, we organize early morning rides, so you can enjoy the beach in the afternoon.
Winter is also a great time to cycle in Sicily: from November to March, temperatures rarely drop below 10°C (50°F) and can reach 20°C (68°F) on sunny days.

What deposit is required for the bikes?

For electric, gravel, and touring bikes, we require a physical credit card (virtual cards on smartphones are not accepted) and a valid ID.
The security deposit is €250 per bike.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash, Visa and American Express credit cards, and PayPal.

How does the payment process work?

You can book directly through our website or contact us to pay a 30% deposit to confirm your booking.
The balance must be paid 10 days before the bike delivery.

Can I book a bike online for more than one week?

Of course! Just mention the extra days in the booking notes. The additional days can be paid for upon bike delivery.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made in writing or by email and are subject to the following terms:

  1. 1–7 days before rental: no refund.
  2. 8–14 days before rental: the 30% deposit will be retained.
  3. 15+ days before rental: full refund of the deposit or any amount paid.
  • Is luggage transport available?

Yes, we can provide luggage transfer service for an additional fee.
The cost depends on distance; contact us for a quote.

 

  • Can I take the bike on the train?

Yes, bicycles can be taken free of charge on all regional trains.

How long does an e-bike battery last?

Battery range depends on several factors: assistance level (1-5), elevation, and rider weight.

Our Bosch and Bafang batteries typically last:
Up to 90 km (56 miles) on Eco mode
About 75 km (47 miles) on Tour mode
About 55 km (34 miles) on Sport mode
About 45 km (28 miles) on Turbo mode

You will also be given the battery key, so you can remove it and recharge during longer breaks if needed.

Can I rent cycling shoes?

No, we do not rent cycling shoes. However, you can choose between flat pedals or rent technical pedals.

Can I bring my own pedals or saddle?

Yes, of course! We can install them for you.

What should I wear for cycling?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, sunscreen, a windbreaker jacket, and sunglasses.

How are the bikes’ braking systems set up?

In European style: the left lever operates the front brake, and the right lever operates the rear brake.
