In 2021, responding to the recurring question, “Where are the women?” in the cycling world, the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF)<\/strong> and Cycling Industry Europe (CIE)<\/strong> launched the Women in Cycling <\/strong>initiative. This project aims to understand how many women work in the industry, in what roles, and, most importantly, how to increase their visibility. <\/p>\n In recent years, Women in Cycling<\/strong> has participated in industry events and trade fairs, addressing gender diversity issues and building professional networks. After successes in Germany,<\/strong> Switzerland<\/strong>, and France<\/strong>, in 2025, Italy<\/strong> will take the stage, thanks to a group of active women in the sector. A tangible sign of how crucial concrete action for gender equality is.
The Women in Cycling<\/strong> movement is not just a positive initiative but a true catalyst for change in an industry that needs innovation and inclusivity. Increasing the number of women in the cycling industry leads to better economic results and supports the United Nations’<\/strong> Sustainable Development<\/strong> Goals by promoting gender equality and social justice. <\/p>\n
